TRADE SHOWS, EXPOS, and FAIRS

THE PREP WORK
  • Know the event and market
  • Schedule all shifts - share with team members or other distributors in your area, to keep the booth full, and maximize investment.
  • Make sure you have enough literature:
  1. Distributor Packets
  2. Client Packets
  3. Welcome to Club packets (for HM clients)
  4. Youngevity Info Packets

THE SET-UP
  • HM - focus your projects on type of event (wedding, family, church).  Have a variety of sizes and styles as well, as simple to detailed templates.  Have a main project you show everyone, that is universal, simple to do, and has a template in the gallery.  A Family Yearbook is generally an easy idea.
  • Memories for Life Products - have a variety.  The tools like the trimmer, border maker, etc., are popular.
  • Don't overwhelm.  Have a focus, or even a couple of focuses, but showcase something people can make a connection to and get excited about.
  • Tables, clothes:  no matter how "simple" the event is, always look professional and prepared for best results.
  •  Banners:  a well-designed banner is a great investment and will be used and re-used as you grow a team.

THE POWER OF THE PITCH
  • Look the part
  • Ask questions then LISTEN
  • Share your enthusiasm and passion, but most importantly help them realize you have something they need, NOW.
  • Have a show special.

THE FOLLOW-UP
  • Email within 24 hours.
  • Phone call within 48 hours for potential distributors and excited contacts.
  • Build a relationship with each contact.  If they aren't ready to make a decision after the first phone call, ask if you can follow-up again later.
  • Give them an opportunity to say "yes" to getting started, in each conversation.
  • Inspire, Instruct, and Motivate!
