![]() New year, new goals, and for many of us it starts with losing the holiday weight and more, getting healthy, getting ready for the annual Top Achievers Club (TAC) trip, etc. For Youngevity, Sanjeev Javia, our Healthy Body Coach, is starting a new group of motivated participants, on a a Healthy Body Transformation Experience. DOWNLOAD OUR GUIDE HERE. This year, he's starting everyone with something a bit different...Beyond Organic's Suero Viv Cleanse, and he's doing it too. While I wouldn't say I enjoy cleanses, I think they're fantastic, and I've seen great benefits from them in my own life. I've had a lot of people ask me about the Suero Viv Cleanse, and I've been entertained as I've watched Sanjeev's experiences on our Facebook page. Read Sanjeev's story and tips below. By the way, if you don't know Sanjeev yet, get to know him by listening to his calls Wednesday nights at 5:00 pm PT. 212-990-8000 PIN 75555# Day 1 Suero Viv Cleanse ![]() Bottle 1 - 8:00am. Remember, take it easy today..lots of relaxing, reflecting, and stretching (if you want to move more than usual). I'm having (1) bottle every 2hrs...8:00am..10:00am...12:00pm...2:00pm..4:00pm...and so on...let's do it! Ok so this was supposed to be my 10:00am post, but as you can see I was jumping on the tennis court. "Do as I say not as I do"..as my dad would ALWAYS say!! Minimal activity for most of you…I couldn't pas up a tennis game. Whoa..went shopping with my sis. Z-Galleria is a Z-Zoo. Anyway, missed my 2:00pm..Suervo...not good idea...you gotta stay with the system...every 2-3hrs. Will keep your energy up and feed your body the nutrients to keep you from craving…back home now...all good. The hefty probiotics in Suervo is a great benefit right now because it's helping to enhance digestion of previous foods...foods that would have been left there because we would have continued to eat! Feeling great, stay on track everyone! 8:00pm - My last SuervoViv...stomach gurgling, a bit of "digestional uncomfortablness", and a few trips to read "Best Bathroom Stories of 2014" (what?!?..it was on sale!)...YES to all of those. It's OK, it sucks, may get worse...but it's nothing harmful...just freakin my Digestive System out because it's not used to drinking FLUID all day. The DS is a powerful system with incredibly strong forces of muscle contraction, when it senses hunger it "calls out" by contracting these forces, this is what causes grumbling. The "discomfort" comes from gases release by bacteria (unhealthy/healthy) and other food that has been "stuck" in the GI tract. The constant trips to the bathroom...well, that's because of all the excess fluid that I've been drinking (SuerVIV) and releasing (water released from balancing of electrolyte levels). Now you know, we're all in this together, let's get through it! Day 2 Suero viv cleanse ![]() 8:07am. Last night was pretty calm, no "fast breaks" to the bathroom and my stomach and I lived up to our "peace treaty". This AM I feel great, not hungry, full of energy, and I my sleep was undisturbed. I'm a bit sore (but oddly less tight in my joints - knees and lower back), but I think that's due to the tennis and lack of calories I consumed yesterday (going shopping with my sis was also grueling!!). You guys know I love hydration first thing in the AM, I mix my BTT in 20-25oz of water FIRST thing in the morning and today (right now), I'll have my 1st SuervoVIV. After 6-8hrs of sleeping/no hydration yet my body is still working recovering/repairing/refreshing itself and producing lots of waste products, you need to flush and refill the system. I feel it completely resets my clock and with BTT & lots of Water, I get to neutralize the toxins, flush them from the system, re-hydrate the cells/body, and provide a huge base of vitmains/minerals/etc., FIRST thing in the morning. No wonder I'm so chipper when I wake up! 12:00pm - 3rd SueroVIV for the day. Surprising no energy issues…muscles still a bit sore. Bill Andreoli sent me a text saying I was old...so I quickly headed to the gym and showed up some college kids in the weight room. My ego is intact. Depending on how well you have treated your body it will adapt to new situations. So don't freak if your having issues..headache, naseau, soreness..it will pass..kinda like withdrawal from drugs..and food is a "drug". I know it sucks "getting it all out"..zit ain't easy..ain't pretty..anything but paradise. Help ur body detoxify today by moving a bit..twist your core..spread your arms and take big steps..will help the lymphatic system (think yoga movements). Keep at it...we are halfway through! 2:00pm - 4th SueroVIV of the day with my mom. Yesterday I missed my 2pm SV...felt tired, hungry, kinda out of it..but today because I stayed on schedule, all has been really well. Routine/Schedule that is the key! So many other detox's focus on cleaning the colon, essentially a "scrub". Which can be helpful for those that are not regular or have just come off of surgery or heavy meds (which tends to constipated you), but for most of us we need to do a deeper cleansing while revitalizing the healthy bacteria and gut lining. That's why Surevo is perfect. After this cleanse you'll have cleaned out the unhealthy bacteria, sowed the seeds of healthy bacteria/probiotics, and created a stronger immune system (we forget about that, don't we?!?). 4:30pm..5th Suero Viv reload. Getting a bit tired..long day. I'm about 110oz of water in (remember I drink lots of lukewarm water..easier to get down quickly..first thing in the morning!) so my body says I should be hungry (it's counting calories and macronutrients too..the stomach has both those sensors). So the stomach is sending signals to the brain..that's the rumbling. I expect it to get more as the night goes on. Had to "escape" all my buddies were watching the Cardinals game at the bar..the smell of wings wasn't helping me..so decided to bail early and drive home. Key is to always put yourself in positions where you can win. BTW...had my SuervoViv in the car for 6 hrs..at room temp. As long as it's not open...it's totally fine. It can be left out for over a day as long as it has not been open. Hey..sshhh..I'm at the movies (Selma)..feelin tired. Need to get to bed...I'm hungry and my cognitive skills are about as sharp as my 9yr old niece playing Jeopardy (not good). I think 2moro I'm going to take it real easy..last day...gonna need to focus and make it happen! Will write more 2moro..signing off..as it says in the Michigan locker room "Those Who Stay Will Be Champions" Day 3 - Suero Viv Cleanse ![]() 1st SuervoViv of the day...hey I feel fantastic. My joints were pretty achy last night..I woke up a few times..but this AM..NOTHING!! It's very interesting. Lots of times inflammation gets built up in the bones (after the injury/joint has healed) and it keeps all the soft tissue around the joint still toxic/sore..and that is what causes the pain in the joint. I've heard this happen a lot with cleanses in which there is direct focus on the immune system...that the joint pain "releases"..I feel that's what happened. It got bad (last night)..because it was working through the soft tissue and now the toxicity/inflammation and been "cleaned" away. I feel much more aware/clearer in my head as well. Its early in the day..I got rested..so I feel fresh..let's see as the day goes on. Today it's key just to lounge around. What?!? I haven't lost a pound?!? How is that! Well it's pretty simple..a cleanse/detox isn't for losing weight..it's only been 3 days of reduced calories and I've never been in starvation mode (thank goodness because I would have eaten away at my muscle) because I've been feeding my body through SueroViv and because I've been digesting better I've released some calories that were in my GI system. I'm also probably holding a bit of water. So for some you will lose weight..others u may not (you may even gain weight a bit)..but you shouldn't worry..it's not about that. It's about cleaning up your system as getting it ready to transform through a healthy diet, proper calories, and a positive lifestyle! 2:00pm - 4th SueroViv of the day! I'm 75% finished with my first (and won't be my last) 3-Day SuervoViV Jumpstart. Because I've been in one place most of the morning/afternoon..I've been able to sip on each bottle for a 90 minutes or so, WOW, that makes a huge difference, I feel like I've had constant energy, no cravings/hungry, really focused..all those things that were lacking yesterday. Detox goes through a few phases, first it works on all the "outside" pollutants/toxins that you've taken/are taking in (non-"organic") type of stuff, the true definition of a toxin. But after that is cleared (to a certain degree) it has the ability to start on the endogenously produced toxins/chemicals/metabolites. It's like excess vitamins, hormones, enzymes, precursors, metabolites produced through various functions...it's like the daily waste the body produces. When your body starts clearing out these, now you've gotten some deep cleaning going on. Now do you see why it's important to take in the "minimal" amount of nutrients during a detox and to be patient..you've got to clear away the "big" stuff to get the "smaller/deeper" waste...this is when some individuals start feeling the euphoric/heightened experience during a detox. We'll all produce this "endogenous" waste..it's a matter of life..but the key is you only have so much capacity and ability with your xenobiotic (foreign) metabolism/detoxification systems...so you want to put the least amount of toxins through it...and make sure there isn't a buildup! Heading to a Michigan Alumni Party - Go Blue Baby..Go Blue. We got 6 more hours everyone (yes, I go to be early!)..we are in the 4th quarter..let's keep scoring!! ![]() 8:00pm - The LAST SueroViV of the day..and 3-Day Cleanse..yippee!! You know, what can I say..sure I'm hungry, sure I'm tired, sure I was stupid to wear my new jeans "just in case" But all I can feel right now..is GRATEFUL. Listen, I'll be honest. Did I do the cleanse to "scrub" my cells, purify my blood, rinse out the organs and GI tract..yeah kinda. Maybe it'll keep me from disease/illness/trauma...huh, yeah good chance..but goodness it was only 3 Days?!?. I mostly did it..because I can. I realized a bit ago, I only own 3 things..my emotions/thoughts, my relationships, and my body...everything else (of true significance) I rent. I want to know I can..I can do anything I set my mind to. I'm not going to get "owned" by hunger, taste, cravings, discomfort, energy, or anything else that will pass. Waking up at 4:30am to study for a class I really don't need to take, running the 30th mile, facing my fears & insecurities each day...it's all about pushing your mind, body, spirit. The 3-Day Cleanse was another challenge in my journey to "own" more of myself and my experience. For those that joined me...I hope you felt the same..for those that will soon begin...you are not alone, the Youngevity family will be with you at every unpleasant swallow, stomach rumble/grumble, and "fast break" to the..well, we'll be waiting outside Goodnight Champions! GREAT JOB SANJEEV! Thanks for coaching us through, and for helping answer questions that so many of us have.
