YOUNGEVITY SOCIAL is a new program that provides TRAINING RESOURCES and HOST REWARDS for sharing your business through in-home or online events. Under the direction of Sean Brown, Co-Founder of Mialisia, we are in the process of creating a program to help all Distributors have the tools they need to build and grow their business through parties, classes, social events, and workshops.
WHAT MAKES OUR SYSTEM DIFFERENT?
- Our top Distributors from various companies are sharing their expertise and working together to create the best resources and training materials for you to select from.
- Distributors choose which brand(s) of product they are most excited about, and that they can personally share the best way possible, to be the focus of their events.
- Hosts and party attendees both have access to wholesale pricing.
- In addition to Host Rewards, there are also Customer Rewards.
- It's a hybrid model combining direct sales with opportunities to add residual rewards through auto-ship choices, and signing up distributors. Our compensation system is the best available when it comes to rewarding team building.
- You receive an automatic 30% commission when you have your own $100 autoship on file. Your autoship can be whichever product brands you choose and can be changed each month.
WHAT CAN ADDING YOUNGEVITY SOCIAL EVENTS DO FOR YOUR BUSINESS?
The most important part of our business for the long term, is duplication, but it all starts with an introduction. A Youngevity Social event is a fantastic way to introduce our product to others.
What can happen to your income as you embrace Youngevity Social?
Party averages are $500 per party.
If you hold 4 parties in a month 4 X $500 = $2000
30% commission = $600 additional in commissions you didn't have last month.
Teach your team to do the same and you'll see what can happen over a year's time.
HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?
During the pilot phase you need to send an email to our SOCIAL SELLING DEPARTMENT with your name, email address and Youngevity ID, and they will set up your account. Then ask a member of our team to add you to the Social Selling Facebook group. You'll begin receiving email communication, you'll obtain an account that enables you to enter your party orders and access host rewards, and you'll start seeing great tips shared by those who are also part of Youngevity Social.
WHAT RESOURCES DO YOU NEED?
Below are some basic resources to make your IN-HOME or ONLINE events a SUCCESS!
TIPS FOR BOOKING
Booking parties can be fun if you are excited about the products and activities you'll be sharing. When you're getting started, it's often best to set up a day or a block of time that you can have a little "Booking Blitz".
As you begin to make calls to find hosts here are some tips that can help you with great results:
#1 Create your list ahead of time. Start with people who've expressed interest in the past, people whose parties you've attended, and customers who love the product, and make sure their contact information is handy.
#2 Create an "Open Date" calendar. Take a look at your calendar over the next 3 months and decide which dates and times you are "Open" for events. If someone says they'd like to host next month, give them 2 or 3 options you have available.
#3 Be excited and stay positive. STAND UP while you're making the call and let your potential host hear the enthusiasm in your voice and the excitement you have for sharing amazing product with their friends and family.
#4 Have a simple script. What are the first sentences you will say? What are the points you want to bring up in the call? Which product line are you focusing your party on? What is the next step after the date is booked? Know all of that before you call and have it written on a notepad in front of you.
$5 DO IT. Start with people you think are most likely to say YES. Keep it simple. Don't over analyze things, or over prepare.
The hardest part is the FIRST STEP. Take things one step at a time and you'll find the success you're looking for.
Working with a host can be a really fun part of our business. An enthusiastic and motivated host can be the difference between a successful event and one that doesn't achieve the results you'd hoped for. Coaching a host on their event can help them achieve the sales goals that they set, and can help you grow your business as well.
WHAT DO I DO OR SAY AT MY EVENT?
More training is coming soon here, but take a look at some of the basic training for various product brands.
Two things to note. First, the 10% for greeting cards is for 25 or fewer. The BULK PRICING FOR GREETING CARDS has a discount built in. Second, if you need a rush orders, call HM customer service at 801.437.8000. Rush orders are handled on a case-by-case basis because it depends on how production is going (if they are backed up we can't offer rush service). Also, there is an additional fee for rush orders that customer service will let you know about when you call.
Creative people amaze me! Some people can take an idea and use it as a springboard into something else, and others CREATE the idea. Recently Janette Ballard's projects caught my eye, as she shared them on one of our team calls. I thought it would be fun to find out a little bit more about what inspires Janette, see some of the things she has created using Youngevity's memory keeping brands, and spotlight this amazing woman who contributes so much to our team and our brand.
“Lots of things will catch your eye, but only a few will grab your heart..pursue those!” Take a look at some of the projects and templates that Janette has found and created to share her passion with others.
Kristen Goodman, who I am very lucky to have as an incredibly creative friend and business partner, has been playing around with some of our fun new products. If you're looking for little ideas to add to your crops or other events, look no further. Kristen has created some! What I love about Kristen's ideas is how she uses the "Shop from your own Store" concept and has used products from each of our 3 memory keeping brands: Heritage Makers, Rhonda Anderson's Our Memories for Life, and Anthology by Lisa Bearnson.
Thanks Kristen for sharing your ideas and creativity with all of us.
Every month Youngevity's memory keeping brands offer a number of new product releases and specials, some that include FREE SHIPPING as well. September's newest releases looked especially fun and I'm excited to share them with you!
Our newest addition is ANTHOLOGY by Lisa Bearnson. Every month, Anthology has an Autoship option that includes 3 categories:
- Card Kit
- Embellishment Kit
- Stamp Kit
See details here. Each month the themes are varied, but one thing I believe will stay the same. They look creative and FUN! You will also get FREE SHIPPING after the 2nd month your autoship is established.
Every month OUR MEMORIES FOR LIFE releases a new scrapbooking collection, and when you set yourself up with an AUTOSHIP account, have I mentioned that you can get the monthly kits with shipping for FREE??? September's collection is Katie Pertiet's "Fall Flourish", and it includes beautiful papers with Fall themes on one side and Halloween on the other. Everything is easily interchangeable and coordinates beautifully.
HERITAGE MAKERS digital publishing Studio is an amazingly flexible system rich with templates, art, and ideas. Six new art collections were released for September, including Katie Pertiet's new Fall Flourish collection. All Studio art is FREE when you're an HM Club member.
Are you looking for different ways to say "thank-you" to guests at your scrapbooking crops and retreats, and to add a little fun and personal touch? Kristen Goodman shares ideas adapted from our very own Heritage Makers Template Gallery, about fun things to give your guests, as well as to take pre-orders for as an extra way to make your business as profitable as you can. Take a look at some of the things she has in store for her September Crop.

THANK-YOU GIFTS FOR ATTENDEES
We were so excited to have award winning photographer, Nick Kelsh on one of our team calls recently. Here are some of the things we learned from him.
Some quick TIPS Nick shared are:
- keep your camera parallel with the thing you are copying
- be sure the lens is over the center of the picture
- lighting is important. Be sure there isn't anything above your phone that will reflect whiteness into the picture.

I know many of my scrapbooking friends submit layouts for Pages on Parade incentives. Try these tips the next time you want to digitize your layouts to submit.
We had award winning photographer, Nick Kelsh, on our training call earlier this week, and he shared a number of tips with us about ways to take better photos with our cameras, and also with our smart phone cameras.
I found this particular tip to be fun, particularly resourceful, and quite "smart" actually. Looking at the quality of the photo on the camera, we can see how useful our smart devices can be when it comes to preserving and duplicating our precious photos. It's time to take out my Iphone and scan in some photos!
Nick Kelsh is a renowned photographer and author of nine books, including the bestselling Naked Babies and Siblings (co-authored with Pulitzer Prize winning writer, Anna Quindlen) and three how-to books for amateurs, How to Photograph Your Baby, How to Photograph Your Family and How to Photograph Your Life.
